Sunday Afternoon HFin'

Postby shoalieman » Sun Aug 26, 2012 7:15 pm

A couple 13" to 14" shoalies on a brown HF from earlier this afternoon:

Fished only about 3 1/2 to 4 hours, but ended up w/ 3 SB & 3 spots. I had one fish do a super leaping headshake and launch the HF and then I thought I heard the rascal laughing at me just before it re entered the H2O.
Gotta love that the river water has cooled off a few degress the past few weeks. Can anyone say "fall bite".
Romans 13:11-13: Another reason for right living is this: you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for the coming of the Lord is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is far gone, the day of his return will soon be here.

Great to see you with the fly rod, shoalieman! Hopefully, that's getting to be the routine these days for you.

Can't beat that! I'm hoping to get out for a while this weekend...If the weather isn't terrible. If it is I can catch up on some tying.
