My Dad always said if a bream was too big to fit through the buttonhole on your shirt, it was a keeper.

We always called a Titty bream one that was so wide your hand wouldn't reach across it so you had to just pin it down on the top of your chest (Titty area) to take the hook out. I have caught a many a one in the ox bows off the Savannah River
