Help with Bank Fishing Rivers

Id like to take my daughter river fishing but i have no boat. I was hoping to get some info on locations i can Bank Fish a river legally and have some good luck. Im not asking for anyones honey hole just a chance to take my daughter fishing on a river. Thanks I live in Pike County so anywhere on the Flint or Ocmulgee would be great. Or any other river thats close to Pike. Thanks

Go to Sprewell Bluff on the Flint or Big Lazer WMA and fish Big Lazer Creek. I don't know if you distinguish between bank fishing and wading but there are great aopportunities for both at these locations. Bank fishing a round Juliette Dam on the Ocmulgee above & below the dam is pretty good also.

but remember the WMA stamp if you go to the bluff or Big Lazer

If you are old like me you don't need to remember it because old people are exempt and don't need one. If you young whippersnappers would just buy a sportsman's license all this other GON caused complexity will not be a problem.
