WMA Crappie

Postby pamlico » Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:24 am

Does anyone have any knowledge of the Crappie fishing in the Ocmulgee or Big Lazer WMA lakes? I was thinking of taking my son out for some Crappie fishing until the rivers warm up enough for him to wade for Shoalies. I have a flat back canoe with a trolling motor so I thought one of the WMA's would be my best shot on some small water. Or if you know of another small lake near the middle of the sate I could try. If you have Crappie fished in either of these WMA's which ione you think is better?

Thanks

You might want to PM MacBass. he made a post a couple days ago that he caught 44 slabs somewhere.
