Flatheads at Wallace dam?

Postby oldduckhunter » Mon Jan 11, 2010 5:59 am

Hi, everyone. I will be spending a wonderful morning Saturday the 16th at pond #1, Dan Denton Waterfowl Area of Oconee WMA to try to live up to my posting name. And see, there's this big river flowing just a few yards away from where I'll be. Is there any chance of catching a flathead there at Wallace dam, or is it just channel cat water?

I have read report sof them being in Lake Oconee but know nothing of the river at that point. The Ol Captain may chime in because he has fished there recently for carp.
