Shoal bass Sweetwater Creek?

The Sweetwater Creek state park seems to be like a good bet for shoal bass. Anyone fish there before? Any info much appreciated

Caught my first shoal bass there a few years back. The floating diving minnow I used to catch it was bigger than the fish itself. The fish was so little, it may not have fit across my hand. I hooked another 12"er as well in my short time there. I went by because i had to kill a few hours before the Braves opened up SunTrust Park for the first ever game and the office shut down early on Friday afternoon for Easter Sunday.

I caught those two around the mill ruins. When I go back, I will venture further down the trail, downstream. A co worker went with me that day but he is older and rock-hopping probably wasn't something he would have been willing to do.

Either way, I saw enough to know its a great spot to try. Beautiful too. Will try to post pic of the fish.
