New in Augusta

Postby ace184 » Thu Apr 03, 2014 1:21 pm

Hey everyone,

My name is Jon. I'm 30yrs old and a family man. I just started really fishing(bass) last year so obviously have a lot to learn still. I live in Evans and am right down the road from the river/canal, so I really want to learn to ins and outs of fishing it. I spent most of last year fishing at McDuffie PFA and it has grown stale to me. I don't have a boat so it will all be from the banks. I know bank fishing in Augusta is blah at best. I have gotten my 4yr old son into fishing recently, but have yet to catch his first one. I am just waiting for that "proud papa" moment. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I only catch-and-release at this point in time. Thank you.

Welcome. Some decent wading up the river above the pumping station on the canal.
